This plays more like a documentary of the tour with a lot of songs in between...  I think I like this one a little better than the first dvd of these guys I upped.  Artwork is included-  all thanks goes to the original uploader.

The Bee Gees
"Spirits Having Flown" Tour TV Special 1979

"The Bee Gees Special" was a television special broadcast by NBC on November 15 (or 26), 1979. The program featured footage from the Bee Gees' July 10, 1979 concert in Oakland, California captured by a film crew that accompanied them during their 1979 Spirits Having Flown Tour. It also included footage from an appearance with Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell, interviews by David Frost with the Bee Gees and their parents, and a behind-the-scenes look at recording and tour planning with Robert Stigwood and the band's crew.

Some background:
After the release of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, The Bee Gees were unable to tour due to their commitment to the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie. Then from March to November, 1978, they spent much of their time in the studio recording Spirits Having Flown, the follow-up album to Saturday Night Fever.

Prior to the kickoff of the tour, The Bee Gees popularity grew even further following Saturday Night Fever, when they were the headline act on the Music for UNICEF Concert in January. Then they won four Grammy awards in February for Saturday Night Fever and by June, they pulled off a feat only matched by The Beatles with six consecutive number one singles, when "Love You Inside Out" topped the charts in June, setting the stage for the hottest summer tour since The Beatles in 1964.

Considering the group's popularity was at an all-time high, stringent security precautions were taken, though The Bee Gees themselves setup base in only five cities. They would fly to the next venue and return to their home base immediately following the show. They leased a custom 55-seat Boeing 720 jet at a cost of over one million dollars with a specially designed logo on the exterior of the plane. The Bee Gees were accompanied on the tour by a film crew capturing highlights of the shows, for use in a NBC-TV special which aired in November, hosted by David Frost.

The Bee Gees were joined on stage with their usual band featuring Alan Kendall on guitar, Blue Weaver on keyboards and Dennis Bryon on drums, as well as Boonero Horns, a 6-piece brass section and Sweet Inspirations, which provided backing vocals.

Led Zeppelin - Blasphemy (SBD/FLAC)

(Soundboard FLAC)

24 & 25th May 1975 (compilation)
Earls Court, London.

Soundboard, plus one track from audience source.

This is a reseed of a previously posted torrent at Dime. All files are the same as before, the MD5 files give a 2 missing file errors (I don't know why), but are OK. I did not replace them as they are OK for the Flac files. There is a new info file.

I chose the title 'Blasphemy' to represent that this is NOT for the serious Led Zeppelin collector.

It is an edit to give a complete set from the London 1975 shows from soundboard sources as far as
possible, and does not include tracks from the official DVD relase. Only "Tangerine" and the first
20 seconds of "Going to California" have had to be taken from an audeince source. The audience noise has also been edited to make the concert fit on 3CDs.

There is nothing ‘definitive’ about this compilation, it is meant as an introduction to the music performed by Led Zeppelin at what may have been the peak of their live performances in 1975.

If you buy the official releases, and mix the recordings from those with this you could make a much improved version.

Compiled and tracked in Soundforge > Flac (level8, sector boundary aligned, verified)

This compilation represents a complete set from the shows Led Zeppelin performed at Earls Court, London in 1975. None of the officially released tracks are included. As far a possible tracks are taken from soundboard sources.

Other versions of this compilation could be made, this is simply one that I have made from the sources I have available, and that fits the trading rules of ‘Dime’.

Edits have been made to the talking and crown noise between the tracks to allow the compilation to fit onto 3 disks, and also to cut down on some of the longer breaks.

If you wish to get the officially released tracks from these shows then I would strongly recommend that you buy:

This, the un-broadcast version of the complete 1991-09-24 Olympia concert was ruined early in the distribution chain.

Quote from another collector who got to live this nightmare before I did:
"I'd say at some stage this has been taped from PAL-M to NTSC without actually being converted! Therefore the colors are a bit wacky. Everything looks blueish/greenish".

And so, no one actively involved in the trading & collecting of FNM concerts has ever seen this version in proper color or without rough, garbled tape.

As a result, it's taken on legendary status over the years --- it could've been the "be all, end all" instead it's the "impossible dream". It's the great tragedy in the world of FNM bootlegs & along with the Courtney video from '84, one of the two "not in this lifetime" items.

I prefer Smeagol's out of the 4 dvd copies (all ntsc) that have made it into circulation here in the digital age. There's little difference between them.

The MTV Brazil broadcast version cut the heart outta the show & is a sad representation of this performance. Imo, this is the greatest FNM concert ever captured on video.
"The World Is Yours" pro-shot seals the deal.

From 2 seperate Master Pre FM Westwood One radio station shows I was able to compile
an almost complete concert !! Only missing My Morning Song - Could I've Been so Blind & Mellow Down Easy.

I have the Master WW1 radio station disc from the first airing on May 08 1995 as well as the re-broadcast on May 05 1997.

I used Cooledit to remove the commercials and to seam the songs together in the correct order.

Running time is approx. 85 minutes so it must go on 2 CD's.
Not sure where the best break would be. Maybe D2 starting with Jealous Again ??

Notes:
2 versions of this show are circulating. The first one, "Dragon Snake" probably comes from a raw transfert of a (x-generation ?) cassette. The second one, "Drums & Bass Show", is obviously remastered from the same source. Typicaly the kind of brutal remaster i can't stand : harsh equalisation removing all medium frequency, incredible noise reduction untill all hiss (and a lot of music) is definitively removed, compression to death untill all dynamics is reduced to zero. The resulting music sounds very unnatural to my ears, but it's of course a personal opinion.

A good clean soundboard, unfortunately the level is very low and there is a lot of hiss from analog.

EC isn't nearly as chatty as on other nights of the 1974 tour, in particular the band introductions are fairly quick, although EC does take the time to introduce Blackie: "I'd like you to meet my out-of-tune guitar as well!".
